Will your next contract renewal still pay?

A recurring contract can lose its margin without changing a single line in the proposal. Test labor changes, added visits, supplies and revised scope before renewing at the old price.

The recurring-job problem

Price the next schedule, not last year’s assumptions.

A renewal needs a fresh workload estimate: how often the team visits, how much paid time the work requires, what supplies cost, and which overhead belongs to the contract. The model below estimates monthly contribution after the listed costs. It is not a quote guarantee, industry benchmark or substitute for reviewing the actual contract.

Renewal changes

Other monthly variable costs and allocated overhead are held constant in the renewal scenario. Update them above if you expect those amounts to change.

Contribution = contract revenue minus modeled labor, supplies, other variable costs and allocated overhead. Contribution margin = contribution / revenue. Price for target margin = renewal cost / (1 โˆ’ target margin). These are modeled monthly amounts, not net company profit or tax advice.

How to interpret the estimate

Does the tool know the right price for my market?

No. It estimates a cost-based monthly price given your assumptions and target contribution margin. Competitor prices, customer budget, contract terms, taxes, seasonality and strategic value are not modeled.

What if my visits or hours increase?

The renewal model multiplies revised visits by revised staff hours and labor rate, and adjusts per-visit supply expenses. It does not infer staffing levels, overtime, minimum visits or a contractual right to change the price.

Does TailorScan receive my numbers?

No. This demonstration computes in your current browser page and does not send values to TailorScan. Standard website hosting and any existing analytics may still record page requests. Avoid entering confidential or personally identifying details.

Are the example figures actual business results?

No. All preset amounts are fictional inputs provided so that you can see the math. There is no implied customer result, recommended industry price or guaranteed margin.
