Independent thinking.
Declared interests.
We aim to earn trust with practical evidence, visible uncertainty and clear separation between research, advertising and paid relationships.
Editorial process
Identify the evidence
Distinguish firsthand testing, sourced third-party reports, supplier descriptions, hypothetical examples and opinion.
Keep uncertainty visible
Do not present estimates as observations, prototypes as shipped software, or planning assumptions as financial results.
Correct material errors
Substantive corrections should be dated and explained. Outdated price or feature claims should be updated when observed.
Declare commercial interests
Sponsored coverage, financial interests, vendor-provided products and affiliate commissions must be identified clearly.
Protect confidential information
Use consented, appropriately de-identified records; never post private client documents or personal identifiers.
Retain editorial control
Commercial partners do not purchase favorable conclusions. If commercial funding affects selection or scope, readers should know.
Affiliate links and partner funding
Where a referral URL generates a commission, a plain-language disclosure must appear close to the recommendation, for example: “TailorScan may earn a commission if you buy through this link, at no additional cost to you.” We will also use appropriate link attributes, such as rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", for eligible links.
No current merchant agreement, affiliate tracking or commission income is implied by this policy. Affiliate recommendations and sponsored placements require an active, approved relationship before publication.
Research and product independence
Some projects described on this site are internal concepts. The presence of a venture name does not signal consumer availability, fundraising, technical certification, regulatory authorization or a customer record.
